Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) - Small Business Construction Outreach Event
Small Business Event: SAVE THE DATE, 23 Jan 2019: Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command Small Business (AFMC/SB) and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/SB) Small Business at WPAFB will be hosting a construction outreach event on 23 Jan 2019. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. EDT with registration starting at 7:30 am EDT. The 88th Air Base Wing Civil Engineering, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Operational Contracting, the Air Force Installation Contracting Activity (AFICA), and the Army Corp of Engineers will provide overviews of their organizations, construction contracting vehicles available, and the FY19 forecasted construction projects contemplated at WPAFB.
Beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m. EDT, firms who have submitted a quad chart with their registration will have an opportunity to interact with the WPAFB government construction project managers or prime contractors who may be interested in meeting potential subcontractors. Small businesses whose primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code falls in Subsector 236 - Construction of Buildings, or Subsector 237 - Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, will be assigned a 5 minute timeslot to brief their capabilities to members of the government civil engineering activity. Small businesses whose primary NAICS falls in Subsector 238 - Specialty Trade Contractors will be given the opportunity to meet construction contractors who have been awarded prime contracts (such as AFLCMC Multiple Award Construction Contract or AFICA Roofing Contract) to discuss potential subcontracting opportunities. The meetings will be authorized for firms that submitted a quad chart (see attached quad chart template) with their initial registration and the government has notified them they will be presenting there capabilities. Notifications on these meetings will be provided to participants by 16 Jan 2019.

We want to ensure equal access to this event, but space is limited so reservations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Each company is limited to two attendees in order to accommodate the maximum number of companies.
***MOST IMPORTANT***REGISTRATION CLOSES on 11 Jan 2019. Please complete all blocks on the registration sheet attached and send requests via email to AFMC.SB.workflow@us.af.mil and cc: matthew.howard.1@us.af.mil not later than 5:00 p.m. EST 11 Jan 2019. All participants are required to complete a registration form to attend. Registrants who want to brief their capabilities to WPAFB government construction managers and prime contractors must also complete and submit the attached quad chart describing company capabilities to the email address identified above by the date/time specified. All capability briefings will be conducted in the same room with the other attendees. If you do not want to brief your capabilities to the entire audience, you must specify in your email with your completed registration form and quad chart and we will make every attempt to arrange for you to meet with a PRIME one-on-one in a separate meeting room (time permitting) after all capability briefings have been conducted.
