Myaleca Malone is currently serving as the Acquisition and Training Manager for the Department of the Air Force Small Business Programs, located in the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. She is responsible for policy personnel and training pertaining to Small Business Programs throughout the department. Ms. Malone has more than 15 years within the Acquisition Career Field. She is a former contracting officer and holds Level III contracting Certification and a National Contract Management Certification. In addition, she recently completed the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business, Small Business Professional credential. This further equips her to advocate for small business industry partners.
In Fiscal Year 2022, the DoD selected Ms. Malone as the winner of the 2022 Revolutionary Leadership of the Year Award. This award is given to an individual DoD Small Business professional who advocates small business participation, responds to challenges with inventive solutions and brings innovation to the DoD through small business utilization and demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
