MENTOR PROTEGE
           
Eligible small businesses have the ability to develop their qualifications and ability to compete for prime contracts and subcontract awards by partnering with large businesses.

HUBZONE

Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) is an economically distressed area as determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA).

8(a)

A small disadvantaged business is a small firm owned by one or more individuals who are socially and economically disadvantaged.

Welcome

Welcome to the 28th Annual Government Procurement Conference (GPC) 2018 website.

The Government Procurement Conference is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its prime contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses. Now in its 28th year, the Government Procurement Conference has become the premier event for small businesses throughout the United States.

Participating firms will have the benefit of marketing their products/services to procurement representatives and small business specialists from government agencies. Companies may choose to set up an exhibit table to showcase their capabilities or simply come as an attendee.

The conference also includes educational conference sessions, procurement matchmaking, and a dynamic exhibitor showcase.

  • Opportunity to participate in Matchmaking appointments while space is available

  • Please note: In an effort to give our participants more choices, lunch is not included in the registration fee. The Walter E. Washington Convention Center has the following food outlets available in the food court: Annie Anne's Pretzels, Wings Over DC, Bone Doctors Barbecue Grill and Freschetta Pizzeria. In addition, there are countless eateries in the area within walking distance
