Knowledge of these practices can help companies position themselves to participate in AFMC procurements ranging from commercial items/services to cutting edge research and development. Understand the Air Force's approach to category management and how it is shaping the future of acquisition. Hear examples of the Department of Defense using OTA for research or prototype instruments to quickly and effectively develop partnerships between government, industry, academia and non-profits, with an emphasis on highly innovative non-traditional and small business partners.
